Air Serbia achieved its most successful October since the company was established, carrying 449,986 passengers on scheduled and charter flights. The number of passengers travelling with the Serbian national airline exceeded 400,000 in a single month for the first time, representing a 15.5% increase compared to the same month last year.
During October, a total of 4,607 flights were operated from Belgrade, Niš and Kraljevo airports, which is 11.9% more than in October 2025. At the same time, the average passenger cabin load factor reached 84.2%, an increase of 4 percentage points compared to one year earlier.
“The fact that we carried more than 4.25 million passengers during the first ten months of the year demonstrates that Air Serbia continues to deliver the best results in its history. By the end of October, we had already reached 93% of the total number of passengers carried throughout the whole of 2025, when Air Serbia transported 4.57 million passengers. These results confirm the continuously growing demand for Air Serbia flights and the success of our network development strategy. We remain committed to further improving Serbia’s connectivity with key markets, providing passengers with even more opportunities for direct travel,” said Jiří Marek, Chief Executive Officer of Air Serbia.
From January through the end of October, Air Serbia operated 44,395 flights, representing a 6% increase compared to the same period in 2025. The average passenger cabin load factor stood at 79.3%, up from 78.5% in the previous year.
To support its continued growth and network expansion, Air Serbia recently launched ticket sales for six new destinations to be introduced during the Summer 2027 season. Passengers will be able to travel on direct flights from Belgrade to Cluj-Napoca in Romania, Chișinău in Moldova, Helsinki in Finland, Yerevan in Armenia, Miami in the United States, and Menorca in Spain.
